FCS games
Since FSU's SoS gets attacked in comparison to the other playoff teams, I'm thinking that a simple way of boosting the SoS for FSU and other ACC teams with playoff aspirations is to simply to play a G5 rather than a FCS. FSU could have played Georgia State, Kennesaw St, Jax St, S. Alabama, etc. or even FIU.

I realize that FCS schools depend on these beatings for their athletic department, so I'm kinda torn on this idea.

That is exactly what most Big Ten teams do.

Yes, because a single 200+ ranked FCS team will kill your entire SOS for the year.

Tough call -- I would rather see a payout to the FCS conferences from the CFB playoff pool than scheduling the body bag games that risk injury to players and honestly just shouldn't be played.

It's so obvious Mr. Magoo can see it, yet it will never happen.

But -- the FCS game is really only a problem for whoever the conference champion is (and probably won't matter going forward since P4 champs are in the playoff starting next year) or anyone looking for a non-auto bid.
