The issue is all the starting CBs will be back unless they grad transfer.
Then we also have 3 DB pledges, but 2 of them may start out at Safety as it’s the emergency spot of need.

So far, nobody I had hoped would jump in the portal, has done so. :(

Not surprised at nettles. I dont think his skill set fits the offense.

I told folks upfront that there’s no way a guy like Moran could acclimate to FBS. But nettles, Dilfer called a plug and play lineman. So, that makes me worried about trench recruiting again. We’ve not really looked at any DL transfers which is dumb considering how bad we were at DT. That gap was as wide as red mountain expressway. We’re offering a few transfers on OLine.

So we are sitting at 5 in the portal currently

6 by my count. 7 scholarship guys when accounting for a few others information

- WR Samario Rudolph. scholarship
- LB Jackson Bratton, Scholarship
- RB Nick Larocca, Walk on
- LS Xander Echols, Scholarship

Basically my unknowns are miller and Echols. Did Echols have his scholarship pulled before the season and who was it given to? Did Damon Miller blueshirt and eventually get put on scholarship or stay a walkon? That’s something I’d need to ask compliance, Ted, or Tristan. I guess.

Either way, I’ve calculated 6 spots open for next years roster. Depends on how we use it. Burn one on Beebe? Then 5.
