Fixed it back.
My OP never said these were arenas owned by the school. It is a list of where they play their home games.
To piggy back off other threads about math and reading comprehension being hard, it really does seem that reading comprehension really is hard for lots of people on this board.
Maybe add every arena memphis plays in that they dont own? Didnt see home games in op.
Pretty cool after 60 years of treating univ like a read hesded step child at the liberty bowl, even painting it frickin showbiat colors at one time theybe decided to sell it now that it is needing renovation
Memphis sidewalkers: Thanks thanks. Frick me daddy memphis.
Tulane, huh... I wouldn't expect reading comprehension problems.
Think real hard... you'll get it eventually. I have faith in you.

clt says you forgot our uptown arena
I see that y'all played Liberty there this season. I don't see any other Charlotte games scheduled there, but I'll list it since you do play games there.
It's basketball capacity is 17,500 per their site.
Any other schools play big games at their city's arena?
Tulane, what about y'all?
clt says we played liberty uptown in a tourney this year to be fair
we occasionally have home games there, but it isn't frequent

UAB and Memphis both are dependent on a city arenas, at least UAB is the primary occupant, Memphis is second or third for theirs.

Memphis and UAB are definitely unique as they might be the only public universities that don’t play in their own facility. The only other area you primarily see rented facilities being used is in the Big East, where you have small, private universities that piggyback off of their big city public venues for their fan support.
What? UAB plays in Bartow Arena. On campus and owned by the school.

Well, then Memphis really is in unique company.
Yep. We play in an NBA arena with our own NBA-level locker rooms.
I don't know why, but recruits kinda dig that stuff.

You can’t really use “own” when describing that facility.
It hasn’t really helped much with NCAA success lately.

OK, "own" in the sense that there are 4 locker room facilities in the building for use by:
1 - NBA Grizzlies
1 - NBA Visitor
1 - NCAA Tigers
1 - NCAA Visitor
Again, since everyone wants to get technical...
As a taxpayer of the State of Tennessee, Shelby County, and the City of Memphis, I, along with all other taxpayers, own publicly funded facilities.
Who manages a facility doesn't change who owns the facility... if ownership is that big of a deal to everyone.
So all the other schools own their own building. Which is why I gues nobody else plays in an NBA arena.
For your viewing pleasure, here's the on-campus Basketball Operations Building which we do "own".
Dale F. Halton Arena at the James H. Barnhardt Student Activity Center (commonly shortened to Halton Arena) is an indoor sports venue located on the main campus of UNC Charlotte in Charlotte, North Carolina. It is the home venue of the Charlotte 49ers men's and women's basketball teams and volleyball team. Halton Arena was named for the former president and CEO of Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company of Charlotte. She was a benefactress to the university and served on the university's board of trustees. The building was funded entirely through private donations and student fees.
clt says what a concept, building your own arena with your own $!

That's cool! How much did it cost to build? Nevermind... I looked it up. $26.5M. That $6M more than we spent on our basketball operations building. Our building is named after the Walmart family.
Just curious... do private donations pay for the annual operations of the building? Or does that fall back on the tax payer?

The Tigers paid for their own locker-rooms in FEF...
