I’ve heard that. I know aresco has said he doesn’t want to do this but geez why not just go get those 3 teams and have an elite basketball conference

I saw the rumor right after we added Army but thought it was shot down.

I saw that comment, but I thought he was just talking about not adding more football members.

If it’s a legitimate possibility, I think the conference needs to do what it has to in order to add all 3. I don’t care what number that puts the conference at, it’s the best play to keep the basketball strong.

I am dating myself but I'm sure some of The Last OG's remember the Great Midwest Conference back in the early 90's, St. Louis and Dayton were our conference mates.

Coaches: Charlie Spoonhour and Oliver Purnell & Larry Hughes shooting guard St.L

A conference with UAB, Memphis, Wichita State, Temple, Saint Louis, Dayton and VCU + FAU and North Texas is definitely potential for a regular 3-4 bid league. This is assuming NCAA tournament as we know it continues ...
