MBB @ Depaul Blue Demons
Saturday 11/25 8pm central on FS2 and radio on the score.

With their poor start they could be called the Black and Blue Angels.
- Purdue Ft Wayne lost 74-82
-Long Beach State lost 73-77
-South Dakota won 72-60
-South Carolina lost 68-73
-San Francisco lost 54-70

And if you think the bad start is over, after hopefully losing to the Huskies, they face Iowa State #13, Texas A&M #18, Louisville #144, Northwestern #57 and Villanova #26. They could be anywhere from 3-8 to 1-10.

KenPom NIU 197 (up from 245 in the last 22-23 KenPom). Depaul 169 (down from 142)

Hope we have a good turnout and a HUSKIE victory.

GO HUSKIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DePaul Guard play has been horrendous, but they have 2 starters out. If those two play, then it will be a better team. They will still get throttled in the BE, but it will be a better team facing NIU.

Marquette beat Kansas by 13, our loss doesn't look to bad.

They beat UCLA and a ranked ILLness team too before that. Now they get to play #2 Purdue next. What a tough three game stint.

Good win for them considering they had to play UCLA and Kansas in less than 24 hrs. Kansas was coming off playing some school called Chaminade (non-D1).

Also of note, one of what I thought would be an easy win, Monmouth, beat West Virginia in Morgantown. Also those Marquette wins bumped us to 181 in KenPom.

GO HUSKIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That school called Chaminade is the host of the Maui Invitational and is in it every year.

Why does ESPN favor a 1-4 team over a 4-1 team so much?

Why?? Purely on reputation alone. They haven’t been to NCAA tourney since 2004. Much like “how many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop”, there are some things I will never understand. DePaul basketball is one of those things.

They win this game I think it starts changing the perception of the basketball team overall and really will give this team more confidence for the rest of the year.
