Willing it to happen: Troy, App, JMU. (I want App in the CCG in Troy)

Hoping the Cajuns get bowl eligible and think they will pull out a win.

Would also like to see ODU and Marshall get to bowl eligibility, give them 50/50 chances in their games.

Lol if some one told JMPoo fans make a string like this

Appy > JMPoo > GaSo > Ga St > Coastal > Marshall > ODU

And close the loop :) there might be a need for super sized mental asylum near Harrisonburg.

Great choice! And I agree.04-cheers

I suppose you could argue JMU is a mental asylum in itself.

No. Y'all decided when to move to FBS. Obviously should have moved earlier....

Yeah last time around they were holding out for the superior CUSA or MAC affiliation, so Coastal got invited.

Been there, done that. Remember this?

https://www.wect.com/story/18828020/gsu-...pionships/

https://caasports.com/standings.aspx?standings=7

JMU has had a great year. But their success doesn't give them the right to change the rules that they want everyone else to live by.

I despise the rule. I think JMU and Jacksonville State should have filed suit back in January challenging it as an antitrust violation as an improper boycott and restraint of trade and negative for consumers. They didn't.

But you finish under the rules you started with.

2001 we sent a losing UNT over 8-3 co-champ MTSU because the rules we started with didn't provide for knocking losing teams out of the mix.

2013 WKU tried to accept a bid to the Mobile Bowl under the conference contract when Arkansas State didn't have a spot to go as co-champs. Rule book said all champs had to be placed before anyone else could accept a bid.

You don't change the rules to suit when they don't provide the result you like.

Would I like to see JMU featured in the conference championship game? Yeah but it isn't fair to whomever was supposed to go under the rules adopted at the start of the season.

The NCAA should have granted the waiver. There is no reason to have a waiver provision if you aren't going to grant one. If you were going to grant a waiver it would be for a school that in the first year of transition played a complying schedule of five countable home games and at least 70% of the schedule vs FBS. That would SEEM to be the very definition of the program deserving of a waiver.

You can be first in the east, but you can't win the east, per the rules. The east winner goes to the championship game, and they can and will claim they won the east. They just can't claim they finished first in the east unless Coastal beats James Madison. Two separate things, per the rules.

The Sun Belt will crown the east representative the Sun Belt East Champion after Saturday's games are over. JMU can claim Kings if the East if they want to.

So now we all want JM to lose just so we don't have to deal with them going into UCF mode.. got it..

RE: Who Y'all Got? Week 13 Predictions
The tiebreaker rules from the Sun Belt site.

I think ODU is out of contention because even if we win and app/coastal lose they will have a higher overall winning percentage.

After that it's "winning percentage against next highest ranked team". If that's ODU, then Coastal would be in since they beat us. If "the next highest team" isn't, then I dunno. But it looks like the East Division winner will probably be coastal unless they lose and app wins

MULTIPLE TEAM TIE FOR THE DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP:
If three or more teams are tied atop a division at the end of the season, the following criteria are used, until one team remains and declared the representative of the Championship game.
1. The team with the highest winning percentage in games played among the tied teams shall be declared the division champion;
2. If still tied, the team with the highest overall divisional winning percentage shall be thedivision champion.
3. If still tied, each team's winning percentage vs the team occupying the next highest position in the final divisional standings, and then continuing down through the standings until one team prevails. When arriving at another group of tied teams while comparing records, use each team's record against the collective tied teams as a group,rather than the performance against individual tied teams. If still tied, combined highest winning percentage against all common non-divisional Conference opponents.
4. If still tied, if one team was ranked in the latest available CFP Selection Committee rankings and wins in the final weekend of the Conference regular season, it will be declared the division champion. If in that same scenario, the team that was the highest ranked team in the latest available CFP Selection Committee rankings loses in the final weekend of the Conference regular season, a composite average of selected computer rankings (Anderson & Hester, Massey, Colley and Wolfe) that include all games on the final weekend will be used to determine the division champion.
5. If there are multiple teams ranked in the latest available CFP Selection Committee rankings, if the highest-ranked team wins in the final weekend of the Conference regular season, they will be declared the division champion. If the highest ranked team loses, a composite average of selected computer rankings (Anderson & Hester, Massey, Colley and Wolfe) that include all games on the final weekend will be used to determine the division champion.
6. If none of the ranked teams win on the final weekend of the Conference regular season, a composite average of selected computer rankings (Anderson & Hester, Massey, Colley and Wolfe) that include all games on the final weekend of the Conference regular season, will be used to determine the division champion;
7. If no teams are ranked in the latest available CFP Selection Committee rankings going into the final weekend of the Conference regular season, a composite average of selected computer rankings (Anderson & Hester, Massey, Colley and Wolfe) that include all games on the final weekend of the Conference regular season, will be used to determine the division champion;
8. If still tied, the team with the highest overall (Conference and non-Conference) winning percentage against FBS teams shall be the division champion;
9. If still tied, the division champion will be determined by lot, conducted by the Commissioner. For all ties of three or more teams, the progression of the tiebreaker shall be followed until the champion amongst the tied is determined. If one team falls out of contention for the highest seed, the remaining teams will continue down the tiebreaker until the champion is determined

RE: Who Y'all Got? Week 13 Predictions
The conference is fun. Predicted by most a 1- or 3-win season at max and could potentially finish 3rd while beating 2 of 3 ahead of us.
