To point out, BobW did say, “Just giving you a hard time, KPJ”. Which implies he is critiquing a fellow poster, rather than the the player. And further implies he is doing so in jest rather than being deliberately mean to KPJ.

I do reallize there is a long standing debate going on between BobW and some other posters that I am trying not to take sides on. I just don’t think this post was part of that debate.

We have a poster here who has out and out slandered the football coach, called him a loser LAST SEASON--which turned out to be one of our best, was calling the football team a joke last night, constantly calls for Creighton's firing, is genuinely disappointed when they win. And what do we do about that? We award him reputation points? Huh? Hilarious! This place cracks me up. I laugh daily at the middle school style peer pressure vibe here. You, yourself come off as someone who takes themself way too seriously, probably never played the game at any meaningful level and so is insecure about it. Just relax, have fun, no one cares that you probably suck at sports.

I am going to chime in again. Whether Sam meaningfully played sports or not, he has incredible perspective and insight of the play on the field or court. I think he gets a little impatient with losing at times, and I understand that.

I do agree that we get caught up on intra-forum grievances on here (we all do). People ironically get excited on failures that hurt their university just because it proves some argument they had with someone on here a couple years earlier.

I don’t think it is right for Sam to have called BobW what he did. And BobW’s response is harsh too. Sam is amazingly insightful, and BobW blends insight with hilarious humor. I love reading both of your posts!!

Ramy, I appreciate your efforts to be a peacekeeper, but Sam is not as comical, hilarious or as antagonistic as the other aforementioned poster. Sam and I disagree on Creighton, but he makes great points on the coach's record. He and I will NEVER be in accord regarding Murphy's zone, but Rob's ten-year tenure certainly find the last two seasons wanting in a serious way. Sam is solid.

Anywayyyyyy…I think Osojnik will get back on track in the coming games.
