3/4 season ACC Power Rankings
1 FSU 9-0 (7-0) - no surprise here.

2 UL 8-1 (5-1) - their journey to the football side of the force is nearly complete.

3 GT 5-4 (3-2) - shocking! Winning 3 of the last 4 which includes UM and UNC. Their offense seems to have found a niche by going run heavy and then hitting the big play on the pass, now where I have heard that before...?

4 NCSU 6-3 (3-2) - Getting it done with defense. They won 2 in a row including wins over Clemson and Miami.

5 Duke 6-3 (3-2) - can’t ding them too much for that 2 game losing streak, playing the 2 best teams back to back.

6 UNC 7-2 (3-2) - you brought it on yourselves losing at home to UVA and then to GT.

7 BC 6-3 (3-2) - forget about style points and lousy competition, they won 5 in a row.

8 UM 6-3 (2-3) - Da U will have to wait another year to be back.

9 Clem 5-4 (2-3) - nice recovery against ND, but still 0fer away from Death Valley.

10 VT 4-5 (3-2) - beating up on the bottom tier of the ACC just makes you the tallest midget.

11 Wake 4-5 (1-5) - the last 2 weeks they had good moral victories; being 1 of only 3 teams to score on FSU in the 2nd half this season and made it a good game vs Duke. Other than that Wake is cake.

12 UVA 2-7 (1-4) - has looked like a competent team the last 4-5 weeks. The big win over UNC and taking UM to OT on the road looks good.

13 Pitt 2-7 (1-4) - the UL win just looks more flukey by the week.

14 SU (4-5) (0-5) - the only winless team in the ACC.

Where does ND 6-3 (2-2), SMU 7-2, Cal 3-6, Stan 3-6 belong?

SMU ahead of BC

Cal and Stanford ahead of UVA.

We are 3-0 vs. those teams ranked below us in this ranking. We need to beat either NCSU or BC and then beat UVA too. Then we can squeak into a bowl and get the extra bowl practice.

And I’m hoping for that. VT is trending up and could carry that momentum into next season. Imagining an ACC with VT competing for the top spot.

You should have quite the environmental advantage up there. I suspect it will be cold as the devil with wind and sleet. If you noticed last night with Miami, as it got colder in Raleigh, Miami slowed down and the humidity drop seemed to affect a few throws. What is the flatlander win percentage in BB in late November?

Hard to put Dook behind State since they beat State like a drum.

That said....keep an eye out on some NCSU news today.

QB MJ Morris deciding to redshirt, the author of the article feels he will enter the transfer portal.
