Hall said be expected between 17-18 to transfer in. I took that being from the portal but that may include JUCO too. Id have to go re-listen. We had 8 last year and 11 portals the year before. Coaching is the problem more than players, but we need as many good portal transfers as we can get.

When does that all get started? Start declaring at end of regular season and start announcing commits in Jan? I don't recall.

Wish we could transfer out our HC. Hope we don't lose our best players from it this year.

I’m not sure on the coaching vs. talent. I think the overall talent level is less than fans seem to think. We’ve had several OL coaches and they haven’t made a difference there. QB is below average. (If the Freshman can throw he might be the future starter.)

Ty Keys seems to be doing good at EMCC, anybody know if we would look at bringing him back?

I know we don't have the time to bring in HS Kids but are we depending on the portal too much............and maybe we need to this year

I don't know it seems to me that SOME of the guys we get from P5 portal are trash.......they don't add anything there is no tradition just a hired gun/cap gun

We're getting guys that went to a P5 but played very little or no time. We're not gonna grab a starting QB from Bama or RB from the BIG.. I think we need to recruit it better, other conference mates have.

Recruiting class looks good on paper (so far).

Honestly, we have talent.. I just don't know if the coaching is there..

I think if we had a better DC and OL coach we could have a different season.. Can't blame the players they're doing what they're told.
