On the other hand, GT and Louisville seem like orphans without any permanent rivals…odd that Clemson v GT is not an annual game.

At least Louisville plays the Northeast trio (Cuse, BC, Pitt) as well as GT five times.

GT probably didn’t want to face Clemson annually. Not sure why Textile bowl is gone.

How is it gone? NC State spent 20 years in the Atlantic instead of the cushy Coastal so to paraphrase Doughnut Dave, kiss my ass. 04-cheers

Is this sarcasm? 03-lmfao

Overall I'm okay with Cuse's schedule.

RE: ACC Schedule Release 10/30
FSU gets UVA and BC x4 and UL and VT x2, it does not make sense so I guess we will just have to meet more often in the ACCCG. This can’t be coincidence, I’m wondering if this is a built in protection system for schedule balance and what could be projected as the top teams going forward.

Another weird thing, FSU played @Pitt in 2013, @UL 2014 and @SMU 2024. Is this some sort of ACC initiation?

I personally can’t wait to host you all next season, especially if you make some CFP noise this year.

*sigh*

Such bullsh*t. Then why did the ACC push GT-Clemson front and center week 1 almost every single year Clown Collins was around?

The feeling is mutual. Hopefully the 2 horses meet and it’s love at first site.

Anti-attractions I see playing out in there:

UNC: Don't play BC, Pitt, Cuse, SMU, UofL, GT
Duke: Don't play BC, Pitt, Cuse, SMU, VT

NCST is pretttttttttttty similar too.

Isn't it amazing how the two share the exact same least played teams just about even after grabbing so many of the 16 protected games?

2024 schedule awards:

Easiest schedule goes to SU. Misses FSU, Clem, UL, UNC

Hardest schedule goes to GT. Plays only 3 home games vs UM, Duke, NCSU and plays FSU (Dublin) @UL, @UNC, @VT, @SU.

Congratulations (I guess)

They also play @U[sic]GA, don't forget that.

Let's be real: The ACC is soft. It's still soft. Clemson imploding is making it softer. If you're for real the ACC is about as easy as it's gonna get in the P5. The Pac-12 is imploding and they're still light years better than the ACC this year. You can't complain about schedule difficulty in the P5 playing in the ACC.

RE: ACC Schedule Release 10/30
Virginia Tech fans are pretty happy with the changes.

It's interesting reading all the takes here. Overall this seems far more balanced than the current or previous schedules.

By forcing the west and northeast to play within region more, the central ACC play more often. I thought UNCs situation was a bit of an outlier.

RE: ACC Schedule Release 10/30
Kind of a flex protect.

Most of the annuals I could have predicted.

SMU gets both Cal and Stanford annually. Wouldn't have predicted but does make sense to minimize travel for both Cal and Stanford.

Biggest surprise for a non annual matchup to me is Clemson-NC State. They only meet 3 times.
