I agree with the worship part on how some fans can be, BUT...
- It shouldn't be assumed a fan's worshiping the coach. More like worshiping the TEAM, at worst -- or even just being a solid fan of the team that cries foul too hastily. No blind faith required...
- In the case of Harbaugh, people have legit concerns about him getting too much flack, like a ref on Dennis Rodman where all ticky-tack fouls will be called. Granted, Harbaugh isn't the best to handle crossing the lines a bit or questionably crossing any lines, but there's at least a legit argument about trying to make too much out of too little as things have gone on. But yes, many UM fans jumped to conclusions early on assuming Nothing was done wrong, when they had nothing to go by it (nor definitely crossed lines when it was just being investigated; they don't know either). Devil's in the details.
- In the case of Tucker, if it wasn't for the leak, we wouldn't be here (right now, anyway). It's not questionable whether he clearly crossed fidelity lines on his wife in what he did, but there isn't enough known to determine whether he truly did cross ethical lines with said woman herself. Not enough information (yet?), to determine whether it truly was enough to fire him if it wasn't publicly known early like this, and whether it was enough to fire him without pay regardless. I don't think MSU fans crying foul over it is worshipping him. They're too hearted fans of MSU jumping to conclusions, when IMO, you can't say one way or another that what he did was all that bad or bad at all if he was single VS really bad.
