Saw/heard this on the Vikings game yesterday as they start off doing the thunder clap before team comes out. To me this is something that might add to our dragon theme w/ the thunder clap & have someone blow it when the team comes out & maybe on 3rd down type thing.

We already stole the thunder clap, do we really need to steal more?

Why not? They probably stole it from someone else. I say it is fair game.

Yeah...I hate it too. He's our main answer to "fan experience" and it's not a good one.

The biggest problem is that every single thing has the exact same max-out to 120% volume enthusiasm whether it's a 19-year-old college kid winning a water bottle or needing the crowd to get pumped up for a big play. That just makes you want to tone him out and ignore it. He doesn't get me hyped up for Blazer Thunder because he was just as excited about the damn pre-rendered (and obvious) helmet shuffle. It's too much.

I wish we could teach the crowd to do it right, and then come out of the fast part with U - A - B, U - A - B...

Can't stand Spanky, or Stinky, or whatever his Rick & Bubba moniker is.
His spots are too loud, too fake, too corporate. Demeaning.

I actually enjoy the guy that does the in game promotions/games during the Stallions games much more. Like y'all say, he is less corny and less corporate, and he also shows up less often.

I think that if I paid money for my company or product to be promoted, I would want the announcer to be excited and try to excite the audience about my company or product. Speedy is simply trying to do his job.

...oh...I know he is trying.

I don't think anybody doubts that.
