Georgia Tech has been far and away the most physical team Louisville has played thus far this season.

I’m glad to see GT doing better. Haynes King and Singleton Jr seem like will be connecting on a lot of TDs in the future.

A strong Georgia Tech is good for the league. I hope the Jackets' progress continues.

Ok...and B.Key got his a$$ handed to him by BG, maybe I was a little to eager to celebrate the freedom from Clown Collins.

RE: HAPPY ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF THE BRENT KEY TAKEOVER
Through 15 games :

Geoff Collins
4-11
avg. Point differential of loss
16.4

Brent Key
7-8
avg. Point differential of loss
8.8

Note:The loss to Boston College was Tech’s fourth straight loss at home to an ACC opponent. The Jackets are now 5-12 in their last 17 ACC home games and 9-20 at Bobby Dodd Stadium since the start of the 2019 season.

And at this point it feels like we're never gonna escape the Clown Shoes mentality. This team just falls apart like the previous coach's teams did, though now it's in the 4th quarter instead of the 2nd or 3rd.

GT had a long way to go (much like another Tech I know). The Jackets are clearly making progress.

RE: HAPPY ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF THE BRENT KEY TAKEOVER
Tech's 4 losses are to teams with combined 24-9 record.
Louisville 7-1
Ole Miss 7-1
Bowling Green 5-4
Boston College 5-3

Combined 24-9. All with winning records. Just an observation.

Should have beaten BC, BG, and Louisville. Probably should have lost to NC and UM.
Basically a wash.

RE: HAPPY ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF THE BRENT KEY TAKEOVER
It wasn’t pretty but Georgia Tech picked up win number six with a 31-22 win over Syracuse on Saturday night in Bobby Dodd Stadium to become bowl-eligible for the first time since 2018 in Paul Johnson’s final season.

FWIW: In Brent Key’s first full season as head coach, he achieved more than his predecessor Geoff Collins doubling his best season win total with six wins in just 11 games. It took Collins 20 games to win his sixth game as Tech’s head coach.

Clown: 6-14 in first 20 games
Key is now 10-9 in his first 19 games.

Georgia Tech: 2023 ACC Coastal division champions!

I know it doesn't actually exist, but GT went 3-0 against former Coastal teams, owns the tiebreaker over UNC who will finish 5-3 if they win against NCSU this weekend. VT could tie GT as well and would be 2-0 against former Coastal teams with a win over UVA this weekend.

What are the expectations next season? Has getting rid of annual ACC games going to help or hurt GT?

Next year it really won't matter that Clemson isn't on the schedule since we have FSU (in Ireland Week 0), Notre Dame (at Mercedes-Benz stadium), Miami, NC State, @Louisville, @VT, and @UGA on the schedule. That feels murderous to me, just like every year we've had lately. It might be another 6-6 year to me, but with that schedule we may be a good team and difficult to beat.

I doubt it. You have a lot of Bowl teams on your schedule next year. Maybe every ACC game on the schedule.

RE: HAPPY ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF THE BRENT KEY TAKEOVER
A fun game of "did you know" about Georgia Tech football tonight..

Did you know, that first-year head coach Brent Key's #GaTech program has a better record (6-5) than:

Colorado
Stanford
Florida
South Carolina
Nebraska
UCF
TCU

Not too bad as they head into the matchup with UGA
