I highly recommend attending the Men’s Basketball Golf Outing. Registration deadline is this Friday Sept 29, and the event is next Friday Oct 6.

Last year, I attended as lunch only (I don’t golf, and additionally had to work). It was a nice meal, and well attended. I was in the buffet line right ahead of Coach Heath and directly across from the Ice Man. It really did not cost that much- especially for an experience like that!! There were a ton of other big names from EMU’s history there too. Someone said Derrick Coleman was there too, but not sure if that was true or what his association to EMU is. Sat with Charlie Eibler from back in the Boykins/Dial/Head team.

I am guessing it won’t be as big as last year since there isn’t the same amount of buzz/excitement. But going again anyway. I highly recommend it.
