I grew up there for 4 years 3-6th grade. That thing was awesome for a kid. Went from suburbs downtown to the movies back in the 70s with my little sis and bro all the time. it was like a private subway and no one messed with us.

Rumblings that the Vet gets converted into an outdoor track and field facility while a new soccer facility gets built closer to campus. Probably on the lot across from ACF. This new facility would be one of the best in the country. The Vet is only a few years old, but the soccer program brings in a ton of donation money and has proven it could fill a much larger stadium. This would be a handful of years down the road.

This is the first I've heard of this, but would be sick and make sense if the money is in place through donations or other means. Would this be part of the "All M" Campaign?

Aaaaaaand it's broken down again....

Realistically, it is not an effective public transport at least in modern time. It breaks down constantly. Weird and Unique public system, but not reliable.

Best part, being on wheels, I almost always got my own car with my brother on the way inbound...leaving, they did make folks ride with us, but I still got to cut line :)

It’s more in the idea stage. Not part of the All M campaign. Definitely a long way from coming to fruition, but we’ve done big things in the last year or so.

It is less than a mile from Hancock Whitney to the Mitchell Center and Stanky Field.
