Athan Kaliakmanis has a QBR of 55.9 (77th in the country) Kaliakmanis has struggled this year. He played poorly against Eastern Michigan and Louisiana. Not what you would call powerhouses..The Nebraska game was a disaster. Kaliakmanis is inconsistent and won't win many games in Minnesota.

Over the past two years, the QB play at Minnesota has regressed significantly. I'd say that's coaching and the personnel. And the schedule doesn't get any easier, especially next year because Minnesota has a brutal schedule.

Kaleb Eleby played against this Michigan Defense 2 years ago and held his own, why do you ask? Because Eleby actually is an "elite" QB with a rock solid arm. Eleby can read defenses and was able to check a bad play off into a good one...Kaliakmanis is trash, I don't care who he played 2 pick sixes in one game is inexcusable.

Not going to call a college kid doing the best he can "trash."

Could it be coaching? Sure. Could it be he's playing above his level (recruiting)? Possibly.

Let's see how QBs from Penn State and Ohio State do against Wolvereenies.

Also - Eleby wasn't even 1st team All-MAC his last year for us.

And if he is-was "elite" why isn't he on an NFL roster now?

He’s a true sophomore. How many games has he started in his career? 4-star prospect out of high school. I’m not writing him off yet.

That said, PJ could have used a Ben Bryant this year.
