Monday Musings
The eagles escape with a win over Dr. Blitz and now will face another ghost of Michigan's past RichRod down in Jacksonville State which is in Alabama not Florida. The musings are short this week Will try again when we open up MAC play.

Let's hope he trots out a defense that resembles one of his vintage U-M units and his QB plays like Tate Forcier.

Great interview - listen to Shannon Sharpe comment on it doesn’t matter where you - doesn’t need to be P5. If you can play, the NFL will find you

Tate Forcier was a very good QB, just not a good citizen.

Dear Jerry,
You may correct me because that was a long time ago, but my memories of Forcier was that after all the hoopla about him, after season one he was not very good. In fact, he didn't even stay there for the three or four years he was eligible, I believe.

Is it weird I can rattle off more names of a 2006-2009 Michigan Football roster then anyone's roster today?

That is how I remember it as well. He had a couple nice games at the start of his freshman season, but other than that he was not very good. He was then eventually benched for Denard Robinson who, while a great athlete and great football player, really wasn't a good quarterback either.

Tate had an issue with let's just describe as pharmaceuticals, but he was electric early in his career. You guys are spot on, his career was hardly remarkable.

I recall Tate’s play being as equally frustrating and spectacular.
He would make a great play and then hold the ball for too long while scrambling in the backfield and take a sack for a huge loss.

Rich Rod is at the perfect school for his coaching talents.

That said, I wish we weren’t playing them.
