Signing Lance Stone is about the only thing that would interest me about the 2025-26 season

Carlos Medlock Jr and Corey Allen’s little brother at Wayne Memorial would be at the top of my list for 2026.

Would be great to sign Lance early that could attract other high profile recruits to join him at EMU

So Lamonta Stone the junior (one of Coach Stone’s older sons) played at EMU for a year some several years earlier. I remember we were all high on getting him at the time. But things did not pan out and he ended up transferring to a community college after his freshman year. It would be great if his little brother gives EMU a try as well. Not sure that is likely outside of his dad being an assistant here. Still hopeful though.

I will also add that Lamonta JR was at (at least) one of the games this past season. He borrowed a cigarette from me (I guess he gave up on the athletic lifestyle ). Regardless, it is nice that even Coach Stone’s family is showing support for the program. Glad they signed him on.

Just a comment here I think Lance may be a better player than Stone Jr. although they are about the same size.
