Us as in the AAC. I don't see everything through blue filtered glasses, and they have big shoes to fill when it comes to basketball. Furthermore, losing by a last second layup when botched calls could have easily made all the difference most certainly isn't getting your ass beat.

We lost. They beat us. We were both underseeded. Bottom line is they won. Doesn't matter why.

Memphis hasn't done anything since Calipari. Penny is great and I love him but we haven't done much. Pastner did as much as Penny.

We say it every year. We need to make it happen. It's now or never. I love Memphis but we're still not there yet.

I don't disagree, but barely losing with a lucky last minute layup isn't the same as an ass whipping. That was my only point.

Penny had zero collegiate coaching experience of any kind when he took the job, further hamstrung by COVID. He is demonstrating that he has an upward trajectory and is developing into a fine coach. I have no concerns regarding our future when it comes to basketball.

UAB recruits the portal like it wants to win now, but refuses any decent road game that doesn’t have a return game stipulation. Now we’ve embraced the “but there’s decent midmajors on our schedule” even though it won’t put butts in seats for/win/lose/draw.

UNT is getting our game with Miss state in Tupelo because we pretend we have any pull in negotiations.

NIT bound are the Blazers.

I'm counting the Blazers among the teams to make their mark in the American. Don't discount the increased commitment, revenue, and television exposure. It can't hurt. If you do end up missing the tournament to find yourselves in the NIT, there is zero shame in that. Make us all proud.

FAU - a defending FF squad with everyone important returning - should win. I will be rooting for the Owls.
