No. Both announced on social media that they are no longer with the organiztion.

Why can't we have anything nice. Unfortunately, I could see some folks cancelling their subscription if they aren't producing content.

This is not good, on several levels.

Not good. They both did great work on content. I hope this doesn't lead to a drop in memberships.

Just guessing but it seems folks would rather get the few Dudley and Goodman articles for free than pay for the the best coverage we have ever had.

This is a blow to our NIL efforts.

I assume that's why he had a snarky tweet against Dudley yesterday.

Looks like there are almost 225 members of MCI.

They barely had a year to prove anything. All of their articles have been great and I was looking forward to their off season articles this summer.

MCI is also part of a larger NIL umbrella - while the name is local and UAB focused, it is part of Student Athlete NIL https://studentathletenil.com/

Yet another NIL thing that didn’t pan out. This is a mess.

Not enough subscriptions to pay for the excellent coverage. I agree that it does not bode well for the NIL. In depth coverage of UAB athletics will also be greatly diminished. Access to the articles was the main reason that I subscribed.

I too subscribed for the content. I will keep it for now because I do want to support our teams. I am angry that more blazer fans did not subscribe. People are letting their guard down after we fought and clawed to bring football, bowling and rifle back. This needs to change!

More to covering a beat than simply showing up for home games. That's the easy part. The meat of coverage should come on non-game day.

I actually think it was more of a swipe at Scarbinksy and Goodman who only wrote a story after the Memphis game.
