Thanks, it's been a long bumpy ride with the SWC imploding, then the Big East melting into the AAC, the Big 12 raiding the AAC, a toe in the door of the PAC only to see it burn down, and now finally the ACC. I did love being in the AAC best of all. What a great bunch of teams. So thanks for good wishes.

Best of luck SMU. I don't know why .. maybe its the burnout from re-alignment at this point .. but losing SMU is just meh to me. Doesn't really stir anything up. Which is kinda odd because WSU/SMU have had some pretty memorable games in our short time in the AAC together. That damn Shake Milton game in Wichita ... then the 24 point comeback down in Dallas. Good times

It will still undoubtedly be a better situation than staying here and potentially losing more conference mates in the coming years. As much as I am sad to see you go, I am happy for your fans.

Cincy, UCF, and Houston, now SMU all in power leagues. UConn just won the natty in basketball… so 5 out of the original 12 members have either joined a power league or won a national championship in one of the revenue sports in the past year. Memphis and USF are mentioned in every power expansion rumor lately… to think everyone used to talk **** when we said “P6.” Think this is just further validation we were right all along lol.

So UNC can use the expansion as an excuse out of the GOR,
So NCSTATE can follow them out.

SMU gave David Miller a scholarship years ago. It was the best investment SMU ever made.
