Refs were fine. Broadcast was mediocre.

With that being said the offense seemed lethargic at times and so did the defense. I'm not sure what to think of it. UTSA has been great so far and ill take the questionable win as it is. Go Coogs!

They allowed a play to happen after winding the clock when a timeout was called and then went back and undid the play. Also yes, the broadcast kept showing irrelevant angles and parts of the play.

I have a feeling they arent gonna be very good this year. Harris looked like he’s either rusty or not 100%. Probably will still be competitive in the AAC tho.

Fair enough

It was ugly, but a win is a win. Plus it was against a Top 25 team.

That game was hot and sweaty but the W made it worth it for me.

Houston in blue unis looked weird. Not sure why UH would want to wax nostalgic for an NFL team. Cincinnati Bearcats would never, ever, EVER wear unis that resemble those of the Cincinnati Bengals. Isn’t the idea of a University and its athletic department to build a distinct brand?

That’s cool. The unis were talked about a lot nationally. The overwhelming majority of people who saw them (in and out of the program) loved them. Rare stroke of genius by our marketing department.

Congratulations to Houston for hanging in there and getting a tough win against UTSA. The Roadrunners remind me a little of where UCF used to be: A large school in a big TV market that is like "no respect" Rodney Dangerfield. I think UTSA football will, at some point, make more noise in the American than what most people might expect.

Its called "connecting" with the city of Houston. And judging from the media buzz, it worked. It doesn't matter if it's bad or good buzz, when you're talked about, it's all good.

Wouldn't hurt UC to try to do that too, as I'm sure there are a lot of casual t-shirt osu fans in the city that are only osu fans "just because". What's so wrong with giving those Cincy residents a reason to connect to UC?

I like that the UH Athletic marketing department is starting to think outside the box a bit now. Now if they'd only latch onto the Space City theme to capture the interest of Astros fans, as the Astros are fully into that Space City connection.
