This will be the 8th match up between the Bulls and the Hilltoppers. Bulls lead 4-3
WKU is favored at home by 11.5

USF will be opening on the road with a complete new coaching staff and many new players.

WKU is one of the favorites to win CUSA and return experienced QB and offense.

Things to Watch for USF.
* How does the new HC and DC that are implementing a new Defensive Formation perform vs a strong offensive unit. Last Year Bulls were dead last on Defense.
* Who is the starting QB and who ends up leading the offense Bohanon returning from injury or Brown who ended last year.
* Last Year USF was out of the game by halftime in many games. So can the team stay in game with WKU on the road all game.

My big question... How much of our problem was coaching (conditioning, play calling, time management), or recruiting/recruits? I'm thinking a lot through Strong and Scott... and hoping Golesh is 'they guy' and that becomes apparent with some moderate but obvious immediate improvement.

I get it will take a couple of years for him to rebuild the team with his guys... but still, if guys like Strong and Scott were that BAD... hoping for a leap forward under Golesh.

Our schedule is pretty weak this season... even an average team would easily win at least 7 games. Can't wait to see how it works out.

Western Kentucky went 4-2 last year vs the new AAC teams. Losing only to UTSA and North Texas. My parents live in Bowling Green and while my Mom is a huge ECU fan and my Step Dad a huge Ohio St guy, they have season tickets to Western Kentucky. They have box seats for next to nothing and it is a pretty cool place to watch a game and Western Kentucky has put together some solid teams. They finished ranked in the final top 25 poll back to back in 2015-2016. It would not surprise me at all to see Western Kentucky win this game vs USF.

I’ve been to a few WKU home games. Cool stadium. End zone is open for students and no goal post nets so fun to watch chicks not paying attention get hit in the face with the football.

Well they did finally win an FCS Natty a few years ago. That football stadium isn't worth a damn though. But neither is our basketball program or arena.

I think we know, is just what’s the point on letting them know?
At the end I think both Bohanon and Brown are good enough to lead the offense. I’m more concerned about our WRs
Defense will decide whether we have a shot in this game. If it’s as bad as last year, we don’t stand a chance.

I’ll be looking for improvement, it may be too early for USF to really be in this game. Too many new coaches,players.

Byrum Brown will start at QB. Bohanon still not fully recovered from last year’s injury won’t play today

Damn that INT really changed the momentum. Time to see if USF has changed at all under Golesh so far
