I’m embarrassed by my pick now.

Hate it for mean green fans.

I have no respect for Cal. Maybe they are decent going beyond tonight.

North Texas suffered a complete collapse in the 2nd half last night, and Morris is hearing about it. This will not be tolerated.

Not encouraging. I hope you guys didn't make a bad hire. Even the field looked bad.

Morris didn't attack the portal like I expected. And he hired a bunch of young recruiters with limited coaching experience.

G, J, Kinne wanted to be UNT's coach, but we hired Morris instead. Kinne's Texas State team thumped Baylor last night and the Mean Green fans now have serious doubts about Morris. He will either step up and turn this thing around quickly or become very unwelcome in Denton.

Morris doesn't have a big multimillion dollar contract. Morris has a base salary of $900,000 with another $300,000 in guaranteed incentives. But his buyout is structured to pay 100% of Morris’ base salary ($900,000) for the first 36 months of the agreement ($2.7 million in total), plus 60% of his base salary for the last 24 months if he is fired without cause (an additional $1.08 million in total). If Morris were fired today, it would only cost UNT around $3.8 million dollars. That amount goes down by $900,000 every year after. That kind of money wouldn't break the bank.

You will have to point to me in your history where you were quick to replace a mistake...Dodge ball seemed to last forever...Littrell took you everywhere except the top of the mountain.

Our last AD chose to extend Bloomgren after five losing seasons instead of pursuing GJ Kinne or anyone else for that matter. It cost him his job when the new president arrived.

Stupid decisions. I hope it works out for you guys. Y'all really did look terrible, but it's only his first game.

With the move to the American and several building projects lined up, our leadership can't allow football to be a drag on our growth. Donors donate to winners. UNT learned their lesson with Littrell's contract. Morris didn't get a big contract that we can't buy out. UNT has several "home & home" P5 series scheduled in the coming years. North Texas isn't going to waste more of these opportunities. If Morris can't win. He will be gone.

How many will he have to lose to be fired after year 1? 8 or 9?

I saw nothing in the Cal game that indicates UNT will win anything this year. I see this as Littrell 2.0.
