Thanks, Cubucks. Not exactly a glamorous weekend of games but good to have real football back. I've been watching replays on the BTN and SEC Channel for too long!

You're welcome!
The three conference games are all intriguing to me, and Penn State/West Virginia could be fun. But yes, the rest are not glamorous at all!

What Purdue needs to do is stop holding on every play and fire your conditioning coaches.. way too many injuries today. Fresno had zero you were down to your fourth center. C'mon man, it's not even that hot compared to Fresno 100+ degree standards.

RE: CFB-Week 1- 8/31-9/4
Odd first weekend for the BIG.

-Michigan looked good, and was basically stretching their legs and in cruise control.

-Ohio State has a new QB so there will be some learning curve, but they will be fine and tough to beat.

-Penn State seems to have a good young QB of their own.

The BIG looks like a three headed monster again, as the rest of the league was pretty bland this week. Future BIG teams looked good, though I am fascinated to see what happens when they actually have to play against teams who value defense.

I'm not sleeping on Maryland, they might put a dent in someone's season here in the east division.

RU dominates Nw for 56 minutes. Then lets up a last second TD in garbage time. Well a win is a win..
