ECU @ # _ Michigan Peacock MY LINE: Michigan 45-20 I'm a firm believer in ECU's run game and defense, but I have to see the qb play to feel any kind of way about this game. I don't think the Pirates will be awestruck at the gameday environment--but Michigan is playing at different level on experiences than the Pirates.
La Tech @ SMU ESPNU MY LINE: SMU 34-18 SMU should be able to win this one.
Akron @ Temple ESPN+ MY LINE: Temple 27-17 Both teams equally sucked last year. I am giving Temple the home field advantage.
Rice @ #_ Texas FOX MY LINE: Texas 44-23 Hopefully Rice can make a game of it, but I expect Texas to dominate this one.
USF @ WKU CBSSN MY LINE: WKU 34-20 WKU should dominate.
Cal @ UNT ESPNU MY LINE: UNT 35-18 I think UNT builds off last year and wins this one big. And it goes without saying, the specter of conference realignment shines on this game.
So Car St @ Charlotte ESPN+ MY LINE: Charlotte 28-23 Both teams sucked last year, but I think Charlotte should be able to get a close win considering their own coaching change.
Monmouth @ FAU ESPN+ MY LINE: FAU 45-18 Owls should dominate.
UTSA @ Houston FS1 MY LINE: UTSA 35-30 I see this game as a 50/50 game. I think both teams will be riding that showing out for their new conference mojo, but I think UTSA was more consistent than Houston last year, so I think they can pull off that narrow road win.
Bethune-Cookman @ Memphis ESPN+ MY LINE: Memphis 35-18 Memphis should dominate.
South Alabama @ #_ Tulane ESPNU MY LINE: Tulane 33-24 Both teams went bowling and had solid seasons last year. Can Tulane keep it going is the real question though. I have to think Tulane gets this in a somewhat tight game.
That's my story and I have a few weeks to change it LOL.
