As far as threads. I won't create multiple threads for the pickem, will update the thread with the standings and the games for the week. Feel free to post your picks (which you can do with a simple copy and paste) to thread. However, only the ones entered via the website will be counted toward the contest.

The games this year will be ATS. I will use a reputable website to predict the spread early. It wont be exact, but it will be close enough run the pickem.

If you are not interested... I do understand, and feel free to not sign up. I have been doing this for for 20+ years and some participants have been participating that long and some come and go, either way its cool.

There is a $100 Amazon gift card to the winner of each the basketball and football pickem competition to offer a little reward for being the best or luckiest.

Again... Thanks for your feedback!

For the record, if the thread-based Pick'Em gets reinstated AND you continue on your website, I'll likely do both.

I understand where you're coming from on just posting updates in a single, season-long thread. I recall responding, commenting, etc within that thread.
I'm just saying that the ability to see others' actual picks and comment, or to plus-rep someone for picking Navy against ND, to read the additional commentary all have value-add for me.

I am unfamiliar with your service. Is it a for-profit venture?

Nope, not at all. I have been doing this as a hobby since the beginning. Started out with just UAB fans and grew to C-USA.

I did however just receive a license through my llc a few months ago to sell some select hand crafted UAB items, however that has nothing to do with the pickem.

You are the first hobbyist I can recall issuing a prize in pursuit of an arduous endeavor for their own enjoyment. I hope it proves fruitful.

Or maybe I operate with a spirit of giving. Yes... my giving spirit has been extremely fruitful. :)

Cool. I'm in.

I do wish in the OP you had made it clear to us legacy AAC fans that you had been doing this for 20 years. I doubt many of us had a clue. I also forgot MikeInoki had retired.

Anyway, sounds like fun.

If I can figure out how to create my login this year I’m in.

I like the ATS angle this year.

He added AAC games last year. I played along. Pretty easy interface.

Okay great AMERICAN fans... The pickem is open, we are a long way away from football season and there is only one game for week one. However I'd suggest for the newbies to go ahead and find your way around the pickem site and get your questions answered before the season starts.

To Register: https://www.blazernation.com/pickem/football/ then click register (make sure you are registering for football and not basketball), you may have to create an account. If you have an account and forgot your password, click the forgot password button and enter your email.

After your register, click > Make picks

Rules:
  • Only AAC Games
  • Pick against a predetermined spread
  • Select your confidence, which will determine your pts for that game.
  • No Bonus Question

Let me know your questions... Thanks!
