Thanks for the link, that's the first time I've seen reported to that detail.
That would mean the media deal paid out somewhere around 21M.
Wow - $9M * 15 = $135M is how much ESPN making of the ACC, and that is without the Full distribution calculated into those reports, which was only a little more 1/2 year.
The ACC will get another 1-3 Million Increase from the ACCN next year.
The base deal might stink but the ACCN is a home run.
That's over $150M for ESPN a year. Now tell me again why ESPN will spend even a minute orchestrating the demise of the ACC.
So that also means the ACC's Media deal is actually better than the Big 12s with the 4% escalators. That's not even including ACCN growth, is which almost assured of increasing incrementally.
2021-2022 21M + 9M
2022-2023 21.84M + 10.5M
2023-2024 22.7M + 10.5M
2024-2025 23.6M +10.5M
2025-2026 24.54 + 10.5 = 35M when the Big 12s 31.7M kicks in
Ok I know I know the real goal is not just being of ahead of the Big 12.
