Kent and Akron lead the MAC in players lost to the transfer portal. According to Rivals KSU has the lowest ranked recruiting class - FWIW. Could be a long season and will be hard to evaluate the coaching staff. Hopefully they overperform.

Agree. With the losses to transfer and the late start recruiting certainly, it would be unfair to expect anything out of Kenni Burns this season, and actually for a few seasons.

Bryan Bradford (RB)

These are the last three in the portal, hoping Coach is able to reach into the portal to plug the many holes. I’m guessing Bradford and Buntin transfer down for playing time while Bailey is following Lewis to Colorado. Bailey will be missed, but I’d be surprised if he excelled at CU.

Don't know anything about Buntin but a WR hitting the portal right after the spring game, the lack of much of any passing stats in the spring game, and our coach's background as an RB coach tells me we're likely going to be a run heavy team.

Did anyone go to the spring game? I'm curious if any of the QBs were heavily involved in the run game. If we are run heavy, it would give a dual threat QB a leg up, which hurts Kargman's chances.

There should be plenty of spots at Colorado following the mass exodus after the Spring game, including some top offensive players from last season:

That's some amazing standards.

Honestly, I don't know what to think of this. On one hand we have a lot of holes, a lot of turnover, and completely new staff. Sure, we should honor their efforts and give them 4 years to build. On the other hand, the bar is to win 6 games (1 FCS + 5 MAC games). That's a feat teams we beat last year were able to do. I got Kenni's back, but you got to face it, the bar is low.

Rant: As far as Lewis, I'm coming out to say I was underwhelmed last year and I don't see him having success at Colorado. (Again, we couldn't win 5 MAC games.) After Idaho I was actually curious to see how good he is at offense or how much Dustin turned his play calls into money. After last year it was apparent his plays are not that dynamic. Disagree if you want, just respectfully disagree.

Agree Lewis wasn't that good of a coach compared to the other coaches that won bowl games at KSU. Remind me what are the name of the other coaches that have won Bowl games

Looks like Jahmad Harmon a CB too. I didn't recognize either of these names. Looks like both were freshman last year that redshirted and didn't get into games.
