Last spring practice??
Maybe I was expecting something totally different, but I attended the spring game or practice of whatever the heck it was today. Very disappointing.
First of all, had no idea what was going on. How much effort would it take to run off a roster with names and numbers on it, and hand it out to the people attending? Not much but it sure would help.
But the worst part was the p.a. system. Is that something they bought second hand from Central Michigan? It is TERRIBLE. We could not understand much of what the announcer was saying. It was compounded by some awful music playing all the time kinda covering up the p.a. announcer.
I am extremely excited about this years team. I was hoping to watch some of the new players, but I couldnt tell who was who. Guess I have to wait until September to find out about this team.

Someday once again they will print off rosters. Some day. It's been, what, 15 years?

RE: Last spring practice??
I saw about the first 10 minutes of the spring game and it was fine. Same as always. The jerseys had names and numbers and I had no trouble understanding the announcer, so I didn't have a problem following the action. I do wish they would hand out rosters, though.

My pregnant wife was getting hot and the 2 year old was getting ansty, so we didn't stay long. I did see Abdus-Salaam rip off a huge run, and Salopek capped off the drive with a rushing TD.

I was there for the entire game / skills competition this afternoon. Have to agree with you about the sound system, although I moved around to different parts of the stadium over the course of the afternoon and there was a lot of variation in sound depending on where I was sitting. In some areas of the stadium it sounded much better than others. I didn’t like that they played music through all of the on-field action. The last spring game I attended was 2016 and I remember being able to hear Fleck quite clearly down on the field. You could also hear the players, quarterback cadence, etc. which I thought was quite cool back then. Today, with the piped in music through the entire event, you could not hear any of that which was disappointing to me.

Overall, I enjoyed the afternoon. It was cool having Skyy and Caliendo back in town.

I went and had a great time. Format was strange. I asked Coach Lou how the defense would get any points and he had no idea. But it was entertaining anyway. I thought Salopek played very well. Huge improvement over last year. Very confident and throwing lasers. I'm encouraged.

Its always hard to tell how good the offense and defense are when they are playing each other. But i thought the up tempo was a nice change and i thought the first string offensive line did pretty well. I also liked Buckley at RB.

They need to convert him to TE. He'll never play QB at FBS level
