"Be A Man”: Modernists and Traditionalists Debate Masculinity | VICE Debates
Following my ill advised insult where I called another poster a primordial shitbag (apologies), I have sat back and tried to examine my own knee jerk, quick to insult tendencies. I often come to spin room to see what "the other side" is saying and normally it is an exercise in examining alternative thought. Sometimes though, I rage post in my disagreements. Working on it.

In my efforts to more passively consume alternative opinion media, I came across a Vice series called Vice Debates which highlights controversial topics, discussed in an open forum, across groups that vary in background, race, gender, creed, religion. Often the arguments get heated but soldier on none the less. I thought in an effort to show that I am trying to be self reflective (again, calling someone a primordial shitbag is immature and incendiary) that I would post some of these videos in an effort to show that despite our disagreements, we have many similarites and civil discourse is possible... even here.

Here is a video discussing "being a man". Thought others might enjoy.
