I didn’t have a chance to watch the game vs Auburn, but the final score didn’t look too good. Any major injuries or anything of note come out of it? Really looking forward to the game against Miami this coming week. Might be the best G5 matchup for Week 2.

Puma was wearing a brace on his right knee and sleeve on his left shin.
Feel good, they don't have burners for recievers to burn our safeties and should be a good competitive game with our #2 qb. He is suppose to be good to go after coming out last game.
Felt every emotion from despair to elation to OT. All the starter secondary went out, starting QB, second string QB went out with injury and the freshman came in. No quit in this team with nice second half adjustments. Another 3rd qtr shout out. Still hurt to lose and now 2 games by a total of 5 points. It's a big corner, but we are making the turn.
After game press conference with Don Brown.

Tough loss. I watched the majority of the UMASS game and then watched Akron lose in OT as well. That kinda day.
Might be the last win of the season for both New Mexico and Indiana. Was excited to see Haston come in and play well. Only a matter of time before he’s fully steering the ship.
The Toledo game will be on ESPNU Oct 7th, noon. It will also be band and pride day. Lets hope for more wins this season as Arkansas State comes in this Saturday. Good weather forecast, amazing! Predicting a win and hope we get the 4 injured players back from the secondary. Our starter has been out and our second string QB went out with a mid-section injury.

You at game? Curious how the crowd looks

You guys made some adjustments and had a very nice second half. The crowd was not great 9,623. The home side was fine but not so much visitors' side. The weather and weather forecast have been terrible this season.

Watched the post-Penn State video, and I have to say this season seems to be really wearing on Don Brown. To me, a good guy and capable coach asked to climb a hill too tall for someone 68 years of age. Or maybe it's just that coaching UMass does that. If for nothing else, I wish success for UMass because of him taking on that task.
Sorry, but that's my honest view watching the video. As he said, the coach doesn't make the schedule, just plays it. IMO Penn State was a body bag game for the $, and it seems to have taken out what Brown had put in. UMass needs to lighten up, maybe get a little less $ and let the program build up. Forgetting there are real people involved and just bean-counting can be a real hazard to the effort.
There have been some ongoing threads on other CSNBBS boards, the latest being sparked by Delaware's interest in FCS>FBS. The "old" threads (r.e., "WKU and Who?") seem to have evolved into "Delaware and Who." That's a shift from the brief "UMass and Who."
I don't want to be the cause of yet another such thread, certainly not here, but UMass still has to resolve who it is and where it wants to be. Without that, all threads involving a UMass move are just printed hot air.
IMO Steve1981 may fault me for this, but if somehow some way we-all could just get Stony Brook to wake up to the potential of a UMass/Stony Brook/Buffalo eastern triad in the MAC ... oh, well. Please don't link this somewhere else. I've had enough with naysayers.
All that said, I hope Brown gets his apparent wish, a repeat 4-win season like 2018. Be a good run-up to 2024.

Just from a UMass and IMHO, we have no history with SB. UMass President served 14 years in Washington DC and probably likes Delaware's location. It is also near the heart on the East Coast footprint. But the MAC can wait on SB as I wait on our AD to wake up as well.
You really don't have rivalries with MAC schools either, so those have to be built anyway. Scattered o-o-c doesn't do it. That's my point ... you, SB and UB would make a helluva trio. BTW, SB is closer to you than UD, and closer to you than it is to UD. Delaware only gets PR because they're talking about FBS. For me at least they're a no-big-deal.
As far as non-fb, the "bunch would be UB, Kent State, Akron, Ohio, SB and UMass. That's 10 of 18 mbb and wbb games for each, for e.g.
Of course this is a stretch. But so many posts seem to do the same on the other boards, so why not?
Also, note things are shakin' in the Northeast, with two set to leave the NEC for the MAAC. Doesn't the CAA have some shakes?

Well, losing with 4 turnovers really hurt, but like the direction of the program. Like that attitude of Coach Don Brown and the future, especially with signals the athletic department is finally on board with a full membership move to a G5 conference. Most likely the MAC!
