You would have to think that CWM is smart enough to know whether Reynolds’s would be eligible to play next year or not, before signing him.
If CWM isn’t smarter about the ins and outs of NCAA basketball than all of us schmucks on here then we have bigger problems!

O$U just got that Battle guy from Minnesota on his second transfer and they seem to think he's eligible next year for them.

He has been in college for 4 years, so is most likely a grad transfer, which is generally an automatic waiver regardless of past transfers.

Reynolds has only been in college for 3 years, so I doubt he can grad transfer.

Temple has a new head coach as of last month. A coaching change, at least in the past, meant a player could transfer and gain immediate eligibility. If that rule has changed, I'm not aware of it.

No, there is no question regarding that. This is his second transfer, he went from UCF to Temple and now Temple to UC. He needs a waiver. Most fans seem to be assuming being granted a waiver is a sure thing, but everything the NCAA has put out lately runs contrary to that.

Got it. Didn't know the UCF bit. Obviously, i'm pulling for him to get a waiver but i don't think it's a bad thing to slow down some of the free agency in objective terms.

His commitment photo shows him wearing #4 which is retired.

Yeah, we need a guy who isn't bashful about getting buckets.

I wish he wasn't another one year guy, though.

Hensley needs to go into the portal soon. My fear is that he knows that there will not be much demand for his services. Not too many schools looking for a third-year guy who averages two points per game, 1 rebound per game, shooting it at 30% from the floor and 55% from the free throw line. If he remains on our roster, we’re likely limited to just two incoming transfers. We need much more quality depth, and unfortunately, Hensley ain’t it.
