Braden named 1st team all-state DIV, for the 2nd year. Didn't get PoY though, as that went to Corri Vermilya of Loudenville, who interestingly committed to Ashland.

Haven't seen the DI/II lists yet. And there have been posts indicating that the coached association has selected Braden as PoY, but I haven't seen an official release to that effect yet.

It does not look like Smith is playing. Injured? I don't know. The coverage is pathetic as they didn't even seem to run through the lineups at the start on the stream, only at the arena where you could not hear the announcer.

Finally get confirmation today that the Ohio Basketball Coaches Association selected Kendall Braden as DIV Player of the year.

She joins other Rockets Sammi Mikonowicz (DII) and Allie Clifton (DII) who won that award in the past. Miami's signee Emily Bratton was named DII PoY this year.

Surprisingly Braden is not on the rosters, possibly she is choosing not to play. But several other MAC signees will be there including: Lauren Gerken, BG; Grace Kingery, Ball State; Emily Bratton, Miami; Riley Smith and Jayda Mosley, CMU.
