It is being reported that we have our new OL Coach. Allen Mogridge, who was formerly at USF is supposedly going to be the guy now that Coach Shank has retired from his coaching duties.

This is a very important piece of the puzzle. From what I can tell the dude is well-credentialed.

Thoughts?

He is very experienced...spent 3 total years at UCF in 2012, 2014-2015.

He is very personable person...very friendly talking to recruits and fans.

While he was at a BCS program UNC (2009-2011), he has never been able to get back to that level...as he then went to UCF, Temple, UCF, Georgia Southern, FIU then USF.

He generally got let go when HC's were fired.

Obviously has spent the past 13 years coaching in the Southeast (prior to that, he spent a total of 8 years at Univ of Buffalo.

I think he's been at every AAC program past and present

He is average as OL coach. Considering he was not hired at GT Tech says something when at UCF, he and Brent Key were tight.
