I assumed he was out of eligibility. Didn't seem anyone from SMU was expecting him to come back.

He was told Preston is the starter next year. Good luck to him as I had a blast watching games with his family.

Hmm. Maybe they did that because otherwise the freshman would have transferred. Still you are losing an experienced guy that has proven to produce for a freshman that even though highly rated hasn’t had much college experience.

It will be interesting to see the results next year, that will tell whether it will hurt SMU or not.

Preston Stone will be just fine and we have KHJ behind him. Check out what’s going on at Memphis.

You might be right, we will find out next season but QBs that throw for 72 TDS in two years do not grow on trees.

What’s going on at Memphis?

Priestcorn and Jackson were strictly NIL losses. Jackson was at Georgia last week the rumor mill had it. the others were either buried or being recruited over.

With SMU's record of buying athletes SMU could not raise the funds (NIL) to retain him?!?!? Times have changed. (toungue in cheek comment)

What happened to the days when record breaking QB's tried their hands at pro football.

These NIL deals must be something.

Fickell is a great coach. He is going to make Wisconsin more consistent and in contention for an B1G championship appearance every year. Cincy lost a lot when they lost him.
