Original line was Troy -2.5. Quickly moved to UTSA -2.5 and now back at Troy -1. Vegas thinks this is going to be a great game, and I agree.

Crazy swings. I imagine it swung back to y'all after the news of our OC going to Oregon broke out. I wonder what swung it our way to begin with though. I have no idea how all that Vegas stuff works. lol

Oh wow didn’t know that. It must have been quick lol should’ve just checked the opening lines page instead of refreshing live.

Excited for the team we are facing, not excited about the time and date.

I wonder if too many people are betting in one direction in a close game like this if they swing it another direction to slow things down? I'm not a sports better so I have no idea how all that works. I think either team being favored by 1.5 to 2.5 points sounds about right.

This could be the best non-playoff bowl of the season. Really looking forward to this game. Hoping Troy really sticks it to the Roadrunners too.

This is an interesting matchup....and coincidentally I'm flying into Orlando on the 16th with the fam for the week to stay at Universal. I'm intrigued to somehow end up in the bleachers.

I am intrigued as to who you would maintain your allegiance. The State of Texas or The SunBelt Conference?

UTSA is their biggest rival so I imagine being a rival and non-SBC school Troy would be the easy option but I could be wrong. That's like if South played in the AAC or C-USA I would actively cheer against them any opportunity I got especially against SBC teams.

It’s Sonny Dykes to lose, but both coaches made the final list of canidates for coach of the year:

I think I would have given it to Fritz. They were 2-10 last season. 11-2 this year and in the Cotton Bowl.

Which is more impressive:

Sonny Dykes - Took a 5-7 team, and went 12-1. Lost the Big 12 Championship. Made it into the College Football Playoff. Ranked #3.

Willie Fritz - Took a 2-10 team, went went 11-2. Won the AAC Championship. Made it into a NY6 Bowl. Ranked #16.

Coach Traylor is a finalist for that also; second consecutive season. I think Traylor deserves to be a finalist this year even more than he did last year because of the multitude of injuries we've had all year. We were pretty healthy last season, and have overcome a lot more this year to go 11-2.

Well, the press conference was cringe and over the top but Frank Harris just confirmed that he’s coming back next year. So looks like UTSA is gonna compete for a conference championship for year one in the AAC. Such a big win for us, September needs to hurry up!

Great news! For what it's worth, I think you guys have a pretty good chance at a title next year.

Very encouraging to see him return. Not gonna put the cart before the horse though. Lots can still happen.

Your right. After watching players go down during ooc early on, not having an FCS home game next year is scary. It’s worth getting Texas State back imo but ugh.

I looked at Troy’s ooc for next year. Like looking in the mirror lmao. Hope y’all like watching army dude’s do push-ups. I don’t remember if they do that on the road. That Kansas State game will be awesome.
