Ridder returns to Cincinnati. Not likely he will get any playing time, but still cool.

Would be cool if the Falcons put Ridder in for a series

Dan mentioned that if the game continues like it is Ridder might make an appearance

Watching chase go from 0 mph to running away from everyone is a sight to behold.

Are the Bengals and Bearcats the only football teams that can't convert 3rd and 1 or 4th and 1?

RE: Bengals-Falcons
Bengals continue their streak of not giving up a TD in the 2nd half. That's crazy!

RE: Bengals-Falcons
I was very critical of the playcalling / game strategy early in the season when the Bengals were always throwing from shotgun and always running from under center and defenses were taking advantage in how they played us. Now it's time to praise the staff for how they've adjusted.

They've basically scrapped running the under center stuff and are a playing almost exclusively from shotgun. They turned the offensive line into a power running line from shotgun and allowed Burrow to do what he does best in the passing game.

Bengals are 4th in EPA per play in shotgun. (they are 31st from under center) Combined with a defense that hasn't given up a second half touchdown, this team looks like a true contender again.

This staff causes a lot of hair pulling but one thing they've excelled in is having the humility to throw out their prior strategy and adjust to their player talent.

4-6 weeks is what I've been seeing.

Quote:Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase is not expected to play Monday night versus the Cleveland Browns due to a hip injury and is likely to be placed on injured reserve in the coming days, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo reported Thursday.

Landing on injured reserve would mean Chase would have to sit for at least four games, but it's trending in that direction according to Garafolo, who added there is no indication this is a season-ending injury.

I was just going by how 4-6 weeks usually turns out. Guess I’ve been around old Doc Kremchek too much.

Another loss to the hapless Browns. Basically just hurting their draft position but killing our playoff hopes.

RE: Bengals-Falcons
At this point of 0-3 in the division and all the injuries you need to start thinking about draft position and trades. This is a throw away season.
