I don't think it matters...UGA reigns supreme over Atlanta and everywhere else in the state. GSU and KSU are probably niche programs which unless they are atop the Sun Belt and CUSA and are knocking off P5 teams frequently becoming nationally-known Cinderella stories are only going to be attracting fans that are made of students, family and alumni.

That plus Atlanta is one of those few cities that has essentially a professional sports franchise from the NFL to NASCAR within it...only lacking an NHL team.

Maybe for the same reason the Braves pull better outside the perimeter than they did downtown.

And not just downtown, but the southern most part of downtown.

That likely has more to do with the fact that the area around Turner Field was a craphole until recently. That and the fact that the battery is actually a nice destination.

Or maybe because the Braves never invested in the downtown area as they have the Battery. They talked of a battery like area with retail, dining and more but they never moved on it. I can't conclude that the craphole area contributed to low attendance numbers more so than the Braves lack of investment in it. You get out what you put in. NOTHING. (Just 1 restaurant outside the stadium....ONE)

GaSt is investing and there numbers are growing. KSU should be just fine. KSU's surrounding area provides most of the amenities that the downtown area lacked before GSU invested.

Twice. Atlanta Flames sale was about poor ownership more than wins and tickets sales from what I understand.

Georgia State sucks at advertising and the gameday atmosphere is boring when it's not Georgia Southern. And an AD that seemingly doesn't care much of anything about athletics. You wouldn't think that was the case with as cocky as their few fans are, however.

I agree. I attended two GaSt games last season and it seemed very lifeless and empty as you walk in. They need to do more with the massive empty entrance.

Try not to take rep points seriously. It’s not like upvoting comments on Reddit where it increases viewership and goes to the top of pages. Its worth less then nothing, and someone making multiple accounts to spam them on each other (Idk if he is or not) needs help.

I dont think a mod should be threatening to ban you for exposing it though, that’s not cool.

Yeah, he's never really posted here, most likely because have a reputation on being more heavy handed as mods.

Though, if we want to be fair, the AAC board can deal with Ghost easier because they have a history of a bunch of trolls. Plus, they have all the Memphis crazies.
