"Major Jamie Lee Henry, the Army's first trans officer, and her wife..."

20-years ago, who thought that we would ever be reading those words, or any like them?

The job of the military is to support and defend the Constitution of the USA. When this is what's doing the defending, and actual soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines are on the other side attacking, I would not make the home team 2-touchdown favorites.

Perhaps it's a bad idea to let people with obvious mental disorders have access to critical information?

That's so 20th century...

This is no longer the world we knew back then. This is a scary weird world. Back then it was just kind of scary but the weirdness was never like today. It's freakin bizzaro world on steroids.

A part of me is glad my old man didn't live to see this. He would see his 25 years in the army as a waste of his own blood, sweat, and tears.

Because it's been celebrated by the Army, specifically this POS as being the first trans officer. This is the U.S. military in 2022. Where we become so obsessed with celebrating the weird shite people do in the bedroom above things like, I dunno... ensuring we have a military that is combat capable from top to bottom (no put intended). Instead, the military has been infested with POS softies like this one and this is the result.

It's a problem Tom, and you've never served in the military and I get that. You don't need to. However, you DO need to realize that having people like this in the military overall weakens the force, drains funding, and destroys combat fitness as a whole.

I understand your, and other retired and active service members, feelings on the military side of this, I'm asking what trans has to do with the crime portion of this. I would have to imagine there's been plenty of straight folk over the years who've done similar things.

Because I’m this case you can’t separate the two pieces of information. Reason being, this individual was celebrated by the Army and media because of their sexuality. So yes, it becomes a public identifier and aspect of their career.

Furthermore, this seems an odd response for you since you’re always wanting to shut others dow for “whataboutisms” in other threads. Yes, other service members have done similar and they should all be punished according to the fullest extent of the UCMJ. All of them.

Okay, so he/she was celebrated. Again, how does that equate to them breaking the law or the UCMJ? Just saying, the sexuality or public status or persona of the individual doesn't seem to much matter here in regards to the spying. That's why I brought up others, not for a whatabout. A whatabout usually attempts to excuse the actions because someone else did it. I'm not doing that here.

Trannie #1 already turned traitor.

And before that, Traitor Manning turned tranny.

People with mental health issues should not be trusted with classified information.
