KJP's behavior gives the impression the WH has decided as a policy to never admit any kind of memory slip. I don't have any sympathy for her or this administration, but I can only imagine what it's like to be in her shoes. She's not a nimble thinker on her best days so she really doesn't have a lot of options when someone points out a blatantly obvious memory lapse by the president. Lie, obfuscate, change the subject.

both dementia and Alzheimer’s runs on both sides of my family …

my pops (80.8 yrs) currently has Parkinson’s (~3yrs) … got a text at 4 a.m. today … he fell getting out of bed into the end table and had to get stitches in his forehead … yep, my life is going to change quickly as my mother isn’t that person to manage this problem … some folk simply live too long … it’s a fk’n curse that I’m destined to suffer if the ‘longevity gene’ resides within myself…

I feel your pain Stink. My wife thought when she married me that she was the one that would be taking care of me because she's 7 years younger and it's the other way around. I'm tired my friend and it's because I'm old (74) and it takes a lot to be a 24/7 caregiver, double whammy. So I know what is in store and you priding yourself in being a good son will take the full brunt of this. Good luck.

That's why I don't ever get mad about the Soylent Green idea. Once we get to a certain age many of us don't/cant' take care of ourselves and if you don't have someone who will take on the responsibility it's a sad state of affairs. You don't want your loved one in a nursing home but age/health problems sometimes neccessitate it. It's a catch 22 you don't want to be in this world anymore but it's a sin to take your own life. I try to be in good spirits so as not to depress my wife, it's hard enough on her already without being an S about our circumstance. Sometimes I do get mad but that's normal as I used to get mad at her before she got sick and it has nothing to do with her sickness. *sigh, alas and all that Schiff*

But yeah, THE SOB was an idiot even before he got sick and he's sick no matter how the Demon(crats) play this.

I am so sorry for your loss. I've never had to deal with it but have a friend who is going through it right now and my heart aches for what he and his family are suffering through. It has to be a soul killer to have someone who is surely the single most important and influential person in your life not recognize you.

My real anger is directed at Joe. It’s obvious and has been even before the election that he was already experiencing mental deficiencies. My God, when your biggest concern in a national debate is that you don’t show signs of a mental breakdown is more important than your message was a huge RED FLAG.

They are the true threats to our republic they all claim we are under at any given time. Their complicit media bombards us with those exact words "...this (insert boogeyman here) is a threat/danger to our democracy".

The real dummies are us for allowing it to happen, although I'm not sure how we could have stopped what's already happening or how we'll avoid what lies ahead.

Our government, our industries and our institutions have all been subverted and infiltrated by bad actors who span the ideological spectrum from Marxists, Chinese communists, Middle Eastern fanatics, Central and South American socialists etc etal.

The three most dangerous threats to our country IMO are Russian Marxists, the CCP and Islamic extremists. All of those share one common trait, they are all largely homogenous societies. Russia is pretty much Russian, maybe a little less so now than before, China is damn near all Chinese and Islamic extremism is uniquely Middle Eastern. Meanwhile we are probably the most diverse country on the planet. IMO that diversity has fractured us. Prior to the turn of the century even though we were a melting pot those who came here largely assimilated themselves into our uniquely American culture. That culture sustained us for over 2 centuries. Our diversity has become somewhat of an Achilles heel now. The only place I see that culture any longer is in rural America.

Anyway, sorry for the rant. Let the cries of "racist" begin.

Sorry about your pops bud. I feel you about the longevity gene. My poor mother struggled with RA for half her life and she lived to be 89. The last year of her life was hell for her after she was diagnosed with lung cancer, her body just broke down completely, but her mind was still sharp as a tack. She was one of the savviest women I've ever known. Now I find myself at 66 and I'm breaking down quickly and hurt like hell most all the time. I do not want to exist in that world where I'm fully aware of my diminishing capabilities. I don't have a death wish nor will I ever take my own life but man there are days I think, hell, I'd be fine with not waking up tomorrow.

Stay strong my friend.

Plagiarized through a not even close to top tier law school. Avg LSAT there is mid 150s, which is about what one buddy who went to a low tier law school got. That alone certainly doesn't make one unintelligent, but it does speak to either that or work ethic. I wouldn't have questioned Bidens work ethic prior to the past three years, but it's understandable given his obvious decline.

Joe Biden is clearly in mental decline.

He is not calling the shots in the executive branch, he is being used like a puppet master controls the puppet………

Unfortunately, they have to drug him up and trot him out publicly from time to time and he is obviously incapable of successfully pulling it off.

He was trotted out to run against Trump because the Dem power people knew no one else in their party could come close.

But still, it's disheartening when on television they ask people how they feel about the job THE SOB is doing and they actually say that he's doing a splendid job.
