As someone who was born in Mexico and speaks Spanish fluently... I hate the word Latinx... Its the most idiotic word that someone has come up with.

I'm married to a Latina and she absolutely hates the term LatinX. She sees it as word whites came up with that no one she knows actually wanted in the first place.

I got curious and read the story. Why not just use Latins, it's gender neutral if they're so worried about inclusion. Or try using Latinos, it's just the same. These people are stupid, plain and simple.

In a nutshell, I don't care just don't refer to me as Latinx, it's more than stupid.

Agreed. Even if it wasn't offensive to Hispanics, which it is, it is offensive to the English and the Spanish language. X is not a vowel.

Yes, it's stupid. I was just down in South America and no one used it. Most thought it was stupid. They couldn't figure out why white America could feel offended for them. None of this makes sense.

I work with a Naturalized US citizen from MX, and she friggin hates it!
She thinks it is "just stupid white people who are just trying to make us feel like we are all in the same box so they can watch us and use us when it is convenient for them".
