I must have missed the reference defining the "good guys" exclusively as to what the swamp critters in the Federal beaurocracy say they are. The oath only goes so far though. As pointed out above - the Nazi's had their own oath to protect their country from all types of enemies too. It wasn't applicable when the state determined that genocide was an appropriate way to "protect" their country.

While the actions in the U.S. by the FBI and DOJ pale in comparison to the gassing of Jews by Nazi's, still those said actions being carried out SHOULD be questioned by the men and women working for these institutions. IMHO, FBI agents "just following orders" is NOT an acceptable defense when we consider actions like "Crossfire Hurricane" that was clearly built upon fabricated evidence and is political in nature. The kidnapping of Gretchen Whitmer plot was an FBI operation to entrap people. The January 6th debacle is nothing but a silly joke if you're going to seriously entertain the idea that DJT ACTUALLY ATTEMPTED a real, bonified coup.

You must not read much history. This did happen once before in our country and members of the army at that time for the most part refused to take up arms against their people.

The Right is all about "law and order."

"Law and order" is different from "pro-police." If the police are corrupt, then a "law and order" platform is anti-police.

Currently, US local police are generally not corrupt. Quite the opposite - the vast majority of them are extremely good at their jobs. But part of the reason for that is BECAUSE the populace has AR-15s - it deters corrupt cops from entering the force.

Well, the right is all about the rule of law. This includes law enforcement officers who do their job.

It also means equal application of the law regardless of station or position.

If law enforcement personnel take up arms against the population to enact a police state as a result of the abandonment of our Republic then all bets are off.
