You can leave office with (on paper) a debt reduction yet you grew the debt massively in your term.

I don't know if you are just ignorant of the difference between debt and deficit or just being dishonest. I suspect its the first, not the latter. Pointing to hypothetical deficit reductions and ignoring the debt is one of the most dishonest ploys in politics. NO MODERN POTUS HAS LOWERED THE DEBT IN THEIR TERM FROM EITHER PARTY.

That gall of any democrat to talk about deficits and debt after what Obama and Biden have done to the national debt. The republicans suck at this issue but the dems are FAR worse and the debt proves it.

Deficit reductions do not exist, if they did the debt would not rise astronomically under every single POTUS from both parties. They are nothing but accounting trickery that hide massive additional spending from the official budget. Thus they can claim deficit reduction while the actual debt explodes.

What good is deficit reduction when the national debt grows astronomically?
