Sample Ballot
Good grief State is ranked too high. They're probably going to beat us but #9 is ridiculous.

That kind of preseason hype is usually reserved for UNC.

RE: AP Sample Ballot
As if it isn't bad enough that we have preseason polls in the first place, we even have magazines predicting what the AP poll will look like when it's released.

I thought Miami at #4 was a stretch, and so did College Football News, which had them at #38 ahead of only USF and South Carolina among teams receiving votes. Of course, now that we have McMurphy's ballot we know they will have at least 22 points even if no other voter lists them on their ballot. Sorry, CFN, you probably spoke too soon.

I see Miami is on this B1G list, too, and Barron is also an alum of that school. The connections obviously haven't hurt.

There's no way to tell if Miami is on the B1G's list. They are on the list of whatever sources fed this to McMurphy.

RE: AP Sample Ballot
You know, if you think about it, pre season rankings are absurd.

Don't you really need to see someone play before you know if they're any good?
