Arrest him, then release him on a cashless bail. Hit the talk show circuit about how the micro-aggressions from the customer were so traumatizing that the employee had a disassosciative mental break and did not realize that he was lashed out physically. Set up gofundme, make a lot of money and become a social justice advocate with some organization making $300K/year. Years later he'll muse about this in a memoir about "that one magical punch that changed my life"....
