Not a good look, Louisville and Miami.

Louisville is fine - even in a down year, they drew 4K more fans than Duke could (size matters). Miami's another story.

RE: ACC Basketball Attendance
Louisville was under Covid protocols the last two seasons. Attendance in 20-21 and 21-22 are not indicative of UofL’s basketball support.

RE: ACC Basketball Attendance
1989-90 Syracuse average just shy of 30,000 fans per game...that included not only Georgetown and UConn but also Canisius and Cornell. That'll never be challenged IMHO.

You have to remember the turmoil Louisville has gone through the last few years having temporary coaching as well as replacing 2 head coaches. We have hired Kenny Payne, a Louisville legend as well as a top notch recruiter as HC. There is a vast new energy in the program. Look for sellouts again in YUM Center.

RE: ACC Basketball Attendance
I would anticipate attendance to be even lower this year. The recession will take it's toll. Basketball tickets at Carolina are more expensive than football tickets (per game) and our parking situation is worse. The University shut down a majority of the remote park and ride bus services (COVID) making it necessary for some folks to hike long distances late at night or in bad weather to get to the Smith Center.
