Would at risk ACC schools vote to dissolve league if
The at risk schools were placed in a league that got a deal worth more than the ACC is paying now?
I don't know whether the B1G/SEC would stop at 20/22 or even 24 if they had their wishes but it seems seems there is any where between 6-8 schools at risk.
If left behind schools would be placed in a P3 of leftovers but got paid 15M more per year plus a nationwide conference network would they accept those terms now? It probably happens in 5-10 years anyway, I wonder if an increased payout would incentivize them to do it now. If its not 15-20 M added revenues, what would the number be?
Maybe it matters, maybe it doesn't. This doesn't come from a B1G/SEC fan base fan, but rather a school in the B12 that is probably left behind in a similar boat now or eventually. So I'm not saying this to flame but rather that puts back some interesting matchups/rivalries in CFB. Maybe also the 3rd league is able to compete nationally in basketball even if it has more of an uphill road in football.

What an absurd question. No school is going to voluntarily relegate itself to a minor conference for a little more money.

Every school imagines that they are P2-worthy.

It's actually an intelligent question. Maybe the answer is simply 'no', but the question is a smart one.
So many hypotheticals.
-Say in 14 years when the GOR is over, UNC, UVA, and Ga Tech go to the BIG, then Clemson, FSU, MIami go to the SEC. What does the contract for the remaining 8 schools look like? Would they have been better off negotiating now to find a better landing spot? In 14 years will it be easier or tougher to find a decent home?
-Do you have better leverage now if you are Wake, Syracuse, BC, etc or in 14 years when the GOR is expired?
-Would you be able to find a home in the SEC/B1G for say a maybe Va Tech, NC State, Ga Tech, Miami today with the leverage of a dissolve that maybe you wouldn't be able to in 14 years?
I get it....the easy thing is just wait 14 years get all the money you can off the money makers. But in 14 years, your leverage is GONE. I suspect it is smarter to work NOW with that instead of wait 14 years when it's gone.

Probably because the ACC was desperate to latch on to ND to get a pay bump at the time that now seems very short sided.

Take a look into the Plains or West Coast and see the ACC's future in 14 years if the hostage scenario proves valid.

Yes, how short-sighted (ahem) of the ACC to bring in Notre Dame and launch a conference network and make millions more dollars, when we all know the long game is about... making lots of dollars.
Sorry, I don't appreciate this latest effort to create drama by casting Notre Dame as some sort of cackling cartoon villain at ACC meetings. I feel the same way about it as I do when fans say 'The ACC should have forced ND's hand during Covid!' or 'The B1G should checkmate ND!' What must these people be like to work with? I hope their spouses own a sturdy set of wheeled luggage.
Notre Dame, Wake Forest... These schools are conference partners. As such they've helped all the rest of us realise a lot of goals. The rest of us have helped them realise their goals as well. That's what conference partners do for each other.

For the ACC conference commissioner and league employees and maybe teams without a choice of other leagues? Or even ACC schools that wanted to force/keep the ACC together and hold their power structure like NC? Yes, adding ND has helped. Although, now I think NC realizes their political power in the ACC is not worth the difference in ACC vs B1G/SEC revenues.
For schools that could have went elsewhere like FSU, Clemson, Miami, Va., etc. Not so much. In retrospect it was a cheap sellout.
