Where is the liberalism of my youth? I'm 41 years old. I remember being taught in public schools, media, and by my liberal friends and family members that respecting differing opinions was a must-do. I remember them all explicitly saying over and over again that differing opinion shouldn't ever be shunned and not even at least listened to.

Remember the "CoExist" stickers? Those seemed to have disappeared.

Now we have these types of actions taking place:

Initiation speeches for incoming Univ of Michigan medical students all walking out and refusing to even listen to a speech, because that person (Dr. Kristin Collier) is a "pro-lifer". Her speech didn't even make mention of it, they just despise her and refused to listen to her because she shares different values and opinions.

Let's face it, liberals need to be honest about themselves and admit that they are not the party of tolerance, really never were, and are the party of bullying and hatred for those who disagree with them.

I worked at several Universities and watched over the years as they became echo chambers. No dissent is allowed. It is scary for our nations future.

As an old-school Democrat, I hate the cry baby socialist ******* that are influencing the party as a whole, and the majority of those on the Democratic side that aren’t on that far left fringe are just as guilty for enabling them. The left preaches tolerance, but then chastises someone for having a differing opinion. No one to blame but themselves when they get obliterated in November.

I'll tell ya. They've all become selfish, hypocritical a$$holes.

They still want to Co-Exist.. You have to agree with them though.

You know they do. Have you seen many of the 18-24 year olds of today?? My fiancés daughter has a boyfriend who is 21. He can't weigh more than 120 pounds although he is about 5'8". He reminds me of Sponge Bob's octopus buddy. His biceps are as big around as my wrists and he glides when he walks. He has a permanent slouch and I'm not sure I've ever seen him when he wasn't wearing pajama bottoms.

He's a nice enough kid but he's an amorphous stick figure. It may not be his fault, for all I know he could have a condition. But so many young men of today look just like him. I know that all the young men of today aren't like him because otherwise colleges couldn't field sports teams but too many of them are. We are in deep chit if we have to start drafting these kids for military service.

If I punched the kid I mentioned above in the face it would tear his head right off his neck. It would be like tearing the head off a dove after shooting it, easy peasy. And I'm old and can't punch for schit these days.

At this point, I say let them keep going, I’d equate it to a building that’s on fire. Just let it keep burning all the way to the ground and start over. There are few current Democrats with a voice that are willing to step up and call out the far left (Tulsi Gabbard and Bill Maher are about the only ones that comes to mind). The rest would rather say nothing and just side with the loonies to appease the Twitter Mob. It is what is. I’ll be watching the tv in November, laughing as the Democrats get killed due to their own stupidity.
