12 years to save the world
As we pass the first quarter-pole; how do we all think things are going?
We have less than 9 years now - well according to this particular doomsday predictor at least.
I saw a quick hitter the other day about how many other times we were told we have 10 years left and I was a little stunned at how many there were. What is more curious to me is the lack of actual scientific proof provided each and every time these 10-year to die forecasts are made. At least the bar maid went outside of the box a little and did not
pick a round number like 10.
10 years to live
I cannot sit here and tell anyone that carbon emissions and other man made chemicals are good for the environment. Frankly there is no way of knowing for sure.
IMO the earth is gonna earth almost regardless of what we do. Inhabitants of the earth did not cause the ice age or any other significant climate changing event over the centuries and centuries leading up to today; therefore I am skeptical that we have much if anything to do with it now.
I am more of a believer that we need to use less or as little of our natural resources as possible, but that has nothing to do with Warming, and everything to do with simply running out.
I would ask of all of the Pros a pretty simple question.... has planet earth moved any closer to the sun? To think that over millions of years that our orbit (distance from the sun) has remained exactly the same might be a little more revealing and provide a much more realistic explanation than cows farting.
A second question I would ask is about all the raging wildfire fires just inhaling oxygen. That cannot help either. All I hear about that is the fires are because of global warming - never that these fires may be contributing to it?
Just sayin' ?
